Entryway Reveal

Reviving Pine Drive

Hello Friends! I finished up the little wall in our entryway a while back. I kept thinking I would get to replacing the door on the closet with an old chippy one I have in the garage, but as time goes on that looks like a project for this summer. So I didn't want to wait any longer to show you!

Here is the before and after!

I love how clean and a bit more grown up it looks.

So lets talk details... The biggest change being the board and batten I installed on the wall. And friends, let me tell you, it was not as hard as I thought it would be and I love how it turned out!! I created a video tutorial on how to do it that you can find here.

The trim and board and batten was painted in Sherwin Williams Alabaster. The closet door in Sherwin Williams Amazing Grey and the walls in Magnolia Locally Sown. The front door got a quick an easy makeover (with no sanding or priming needed of the steel) with Annie Sloan Chateau Grey and clear wax. It has been done for a while now and looks as perfect as the day I painted it.

The light was purchased from Lowes and you can find it here. And guess what, I installed this thing myself! I can't believe it, my DIY skills are growing!

The table is an old find I stole from my mother... She is the best and always lets me have pretty things from her stash! The decor was found with my bestie, Aislynn, on a shopping trip to Home Goods or antiques.

I love the style update it brought when you walk into the front door!

Hope this inspires you to change up your space! Onto the living room that shares this space!

You can find the supplies & tools I use at my Amazon store and order Annie Sloan paint directly from me at this website. Also, check out the YouTube channel for tons of video tutorials!

I love this! I have the same trim as you and I've been wanting to paint it. Are your doors that you've painted real wood or the hollow kind like mine?
